August 2024 Product Release Notes

This month’s release notes include completing phone number verification, new carriers for Insurance Verification Pro, and an enhancement to the Patient Profile slide out.
 

Phone Number Verification

Action required for Marketing Platform users! The U.S. is implementing end-to-end call authentication to help combat the growing number of robocalls people receive from unknown numbers. This means our partner, Twilio, now requires a verification process for your phone number to ensure it can be used for appointment confirmations through our Marketing Platform. Please be sure to complete this. This helps to ensure patients recognize your practice number and respond to messages, creating a better practice experience for everyone.

To verify your number, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the Settings (gear icon within the unified wrapper).
  2. Under "Account" click "Phone Number Verification" 
  3. If you have a phone tree, enter your extension. 
  4. Click the button "Click Here to Receive a Phone Call."
  5. You’ll get a phone call requesting a 6-digit verification code. Input the 6-digit code on the screen to finalize the verification.
  6. If successfully verified, you will see a confirmation screen. 
  7. If verification fails, you will be prompted to try again. 
  8.  Once verified, you will be able to see your verification status on the Phone Number Verification settings page.

Insurance Verification Pro

Dentalquest and SunLife are now supported for Insurance Verification Pro users. Click here to enter your credentials and start using these new carriers today.  

Patient Profile

The Patient Profile slide out has an updated look making it easier to get work done instead of spending time clicking and scrolling to find what you need. Now you have a streamlined view of options to choose from, and you can jump in and out of specific areas instantly. The Patient Inbox has also been added to the Patient Profile so you can quickly communicate with a patient without switching between apps. Keep an eye out for more enhancements to the Patient Profile.
