Alex Nozdrin

For the second consecutive year, Crain’s Chicago Business named RevenueWell one of Chicago’s best places to work in Chicago.
Normally we don’t toot our own horn, but in this case we’re making an exception. We’re thrilled to announce that, for the second straight year, RevenueWell has been named one of the Top 100 places to work in all of Chicago by the publication Crain’s Chicago Business.
In order to determine the city’s best workplaces, Crain’s surveys employees around Chicagoland on everything from “workplace comforts to benefits and culture.”
To those who work at RevenueWell, this award is a bit of a no-brainer. Our culture is second-to-none, and a place where everyone is encouraged to do great work while being themselves.
“As we’ve grown, our biggest focus has been on maintaining our company culture,” says founder Alex Nozdrin, affectionately known as “Z” around the office. “Everyone here loves to kick butt while keeping it loose and being themselves. We always want that to be the case.”
Accounting Coordinator Tyler Whitaker agrees. Tyler has worn several hats during his time with RevenueWell — first starting in Customer Success and currently working in Accounting — and his managers have always encouraged him to explore areas that fit his long-term professional aspirations. “I’m an odd-shaped peg in a cookie cutter world,” says Tyler, while seated under a Darth Vader piñata, next to a makeshift hot sauce bar. “I started in Customer Success, and RevenueWell let me explore what I was interested in. They found a place for me where I could put those skills to use.”
By playing to people’s strengths, RevenueWell recruits some of the best and brightest minds in the region. So much so, that we opened an office branch in downtown Chicago this past year! Normally, recruiting good talent can be difficult. However, Human Resources Business Partner Nicole Solecki says that’s not really the case for RevenueWell. That the strong, top-down structure from the founders shines through to every facet of the company.
“When I first saw our company values, I felt they had to be a little exaggerated; no company could live up to such high aspirations,” explains Nicole. “However, seeing the founders live by those values every single day creates a refreshing, open, and positive culture that every employee is able to contribute to. That foundation adds more meaning to our work and makes me proud to recruit for RevenueWell.”
Despite being new to RevenueWell, Customer Marketing Manager Jena Pender doubles down on the company culture. “I’ve only been with the company for a couple months and already feel like a veteran,” says Jena. “All your managers and team members immediately trust you to come in and do what you’re good at. That level of autonomy makes you feel great about going into work every day — you get support and encouragement to succeed.”
RevenueWell shares many of the perks of other tech companies — fresh fruit deliveries, Razor scooters zipping around, an assortment of billiard and video games to help people decompress, and weekly happy hours to encourage team building.
However, there’s also an intrinsic value to the daily work each department puts in. A joy in helping dental practices connect with their patients, and a desire to reach as many people as possible.
“What we do here,” says Senior Sales Development Manager, Alex Portnoy, “is uplifting work. It’s always fun. And it’s fast paced, which feeds the company’s energy.”
At the end of the day, RevenueWell’s founders understand that a company is only as great as its people. And, in order for RevenueWell to continue transforming the healthcare industry, they’re adamant that putting culture first enables everything else to fall into place.
Says Z, “Ultimately, we want a place where every single person enjoys coming to work, sharing ideas, solving problems, and really just doing amazing things in healthcare.”
